My Story

My educational background in psychology and mental health allowed me to find my passion: working with people. I began my journey with a BA and MA in Psychology from CCNY and CAS-MA in Mental Health from Alfred University. I am also currently working on completing my Ph.D. in Psychology and a concentration in Mental Health. After working in the field for several years, I developed a passion for optimizing hidden potential. All humans have issues and struggle to overcome, and working through the mental barriers became my specialty.

We all must learn to navigate this fantastic maze called Life, and my role is to provide a sound and practical guide to successfully reach your maximum potential. I have over twenty years of experience working with all age groups. My 15 years in higher education allowed me to gain valuable experience in college counseling, admissions, teaching as a professor, and career development. My seven years of clinical experience provided much training in helping people work through various obstacles such as anxiety, depression, managing relationships, and many other mental obstacles.

My approach is very person-centered, and utilizing the behavior modification technique is a powerful tool in obtaining the desired changes one looks to accomplish. As we work together, we aim to gain valuable interpersonal skills, learn to utilize coping strategies, and accomplish short- and long-term goals towards your desired markers.
